President Obama appoints Susan Levine to national council

Paradise Valley resident Susan G. Levine has been appointed by President Barack Obama for the United States Holocaust Memorial Council. Ms. Levine was sworn-in during a Nov. 29 ceremony in Washington D.C. The United States Holocaust Memorial Council was established by Congress in 1980 to lead the nation in commemorating the Holocaust and to raise private funds for and build the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, according to a press release.
