“Eat Like a Kid” Day proceeds help end bullying in Phoenix schools

Chompie’s, Arizona’s New York Deli, is hosting “Eat Like a Kid Day” on Wednesday, Aug. 19. On Eat Like a Kid Day, people of any age can order off of Chompie’s award-winning kid’s menu, and Chompie’s will make a donation from every kids meal purchased to the non-profit Playworks, Inc., to keep bullying out of Phoenix schools. To date, Chompie’s has donated over $25,000 to Playworks Arizona as a result of Eat Like a Kid Day. Chompie’s award-winning kids menu is packed with all the foods kids of all ages love to chomp, stated a press release. With 19 entrees, there’s something to enjoy for every kid — from the finicky to the junior foodie. Gluten-free friendly options are also available, stated the release.
