Phoenix Suns, Dominick’s Steakhouse dinner proceeds to go to Make-A-Wish

Meet and mingle with Phoenix Suns starting forward P.J. Tucker who will be on-hand to greet guests while dining at Dominick’s Steakhouse in the Scottsdale Quarter on Monday Oct. 24, all to benefit Make-A-Wish Arizona. For one night only Dominick’s Steakhouse will donate 100 percent of all proceeds from food and beverage to the Phoenix-based charity dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, according to a press release.

Xavier alumna selected for Phoenix Suns dance team

Xavier alumna and assistant Spirit Line coach, Megan Nolen, was selected to the 2015-16 Phoenix Suns dance team. Ms. Nolen spent four years on the University of Arizona’s pom line before returning to Xavier to help coach the school’s Spirit Line to two consecutive Division I state championships, according to a press release.

Phoenix Suns to induct Steve Nash into Suns Ring of Honor

The Phoenix Suns will induct two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, Steve Nash, into the Suns Ring of Honor on Friday, Oct. 30, at halftime of the Suns-Portland Trail Blazers game at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Mr. Nash, the team’s heart and soul during an era of Suns basketball that revolutionized the NBA, led the club to its best record in franchise history in 2004-05, and earned back-to-back NBA Most Valuable Player awards in 2005 and 2006, according to a press release. An eight-time All-Star (six with the Suns), Mr. Nash finished his career as the Suns’ all-time leader in assists, 3-point field goals made, and free-throw percentage.
