$1M painting highlights new season of “Arizona Collectibles”

The second season of “Arizona Collectibles” on Eight, Arizona PBS showcases antiques and historical artifacts hidden throughout Arizona, including a painting worth nearly $1 million. Hosted by Beth McDonald, radio personality for Phoenix-based 99.9 FM KEZ and owner of NeNe Unique antiques, the program will return for another 13-episode season at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 3 on Eight HD. Season two features a variety of precious items and family heirlooms that shine a light on history in Arizona and beyond. History buffs will be treated to a wide selection of items including a pardon signed by Abraham Lincoln, a Navajo blanket from the late 1800s, a Civil War amputation kit and a Bible from 1509, according to a press release.
