Arizona Marine Corps plate to aid scholarship fund

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Arizona Campaign announced the launch of the U.S. Marine Corps Arizona specialty license plate. Of the $25 registration fee, $17 will go to the Scholarship Foundation to support local students in its mission of Honoring Marines by Educating Their Children. Since its inception in 1962, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation has awarded 35,000 scholarships valued at nearly $100 million to the sons and daughters of Marines and Navy Corpsmen nationwide, according to a press release.
