Police: 1 arrested for stolen vehicle in Paradise Valley

The Paradise Valley Police Department arrested one man, after responding to a stolen vehicle alert on Thursday, June 29. At 11:17 a.m. Thursday, June 29, the PVPD responded to a license plate reader hit on a stolen vehicle near north Tatum Boulevard and east Shea Boulevard, police officials say. Officers were able to locate the vehicle in the 6400 block of east Lincoln Drive, and a subsequent traffic stop resulted in the successful recovery of the vehicle and the arrest of the male driver, police say.

Police: teenagers arrested in pursuit of stolen vehicle

Three juveniles were arrested in the Town of Paradise Valley on the morning of May 26, following a license plate reader hit on a stolen pickup truck, police officials say. At about 9:52 a.m. May 26, Paradise Valley police officers responded to the area of north Tatum Boulevard and east McDonald Drive in reference to a license plate reader hit on a stolen 2008 silver Nissan pickup truck. Officers located the vehicle in the 3600 block of east Lincoln Drive, were the vehicle turned south onto north Palo Cristi. Officers activated their emergency lights in an attempt to conduct a traffic stop, police say, but the stolen vehicle failed to stop.

Paradise Valley license plate reader alert leads to the arrest of 4

The Paradise Valley Police Department took four people into custody in the very early morning of April 2, following the alert of a license plate reader, according to police officials. At 1:44 a.m. April 2, Paradise Valley police officers responded to an alert from one of the police department’s fixed license plate readers. The alert was on a 2015 Kia Rio that showed an arrested warrant for a subject associated with the vehicle, police officials said.

Stolen rental truck recovered by PVPD

The Paradise Valley Police Department has recovered a rental truck stolen from the city of Tempe last June, by receiving an alert from town license plate readers. At 5:24 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, the Paradise Valley Police Department received a license plate reader hit in the area of north Scottsdale Road and east Lincoln Drive, according to police officials. The alert was on a 2016 GMC Budget Rental truck bearing Oklahoma license plate, 2RH057, reported stolen out of Tempe on June 2, 2016, police said.

Stolen vehicle recovered following license plate reader alert

The Paradise Valley Police Department has arrested one individual and recovered a stolen Mercedes Benz after receiving a hit from the town license plate readers. At 7:50 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, the Paradise Valley Police Department received an alert from the license plate reader in the area of north Tatum Boulevard and east McDonald Drive on a 2017 Mercedes Benz AMG convertible, bearing Arizona license plate BZF5642, a police news release stated.

A stolen vehicle has been recovered on Feb. 22, due to the Town of Paradise Valley license plate readers, police say. At 9:52 a.m. on Feb. 22, the Paradise Valley Police Department was dispatched to a license plate reader hit of a stolen vehicle. Police learned the vehicle was heading southbound on Tatum Boulevard from Shea Boulevard, according to a news release. The vehicle was located and the driver was subsequently arrested, the release stated.
