Florence Crittenton, EuroRhythm Dance partner to raise funds for at-risk Valley girls

Eight young women got to participate in their own “dancing with the stars” evening at a May 20 fundraiser, raising over $27,000. On Saturday, May 20, the young women from Florence Crittenton performed dance routines with their professional partners from EuroRhythm Dance Studio, at the third annual Transformation, Love and Connection Dance. Raising over $27,000, the event held at Desert Botanical Garden, 1201 N. Galvin Pkwy. in Phoenix, also featured professional performances and open dancing for the guests.

Paradise Valley resident co-chairs Teaming Up for Girls Luncheon

Paradise Valley resident Tahnia McKeever will serve as event co-chair alongside Phoenix resident Cathy Stein for Florence Crittenton’s 15th Annual Teaming Up for Girls Luncheon, commemorating the agency’s 120 years of providing safety, hope and opportunity to at-risk girls in the valley. Florence Crittenton will host its luncheon on Thursday, March 16, at the J.W. Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn, with a VIP reception at 11 a.m., followed by the luncheon at 11:45 a.m.

Teaming Up For Girls Luncheon raises more than $410,000 for at-risk girls

Kidnapping survivor, author and keynote speaker, Jaycee Lee Dugard, shared her story of resilience and triumph at Florence Crittenton’s 14th Annual Teaming Up For Girls Luncheon at the Arizona Biltmore Resort. Also, center back for Team USA and 2015 FIFA World Cup Champion, Julie Johnston, was honored with the Head start, Opportunity, Positive future and Education — also known as HOPE — award for her work to empower young girls.

Florence Crittenton’s annual luncheon hosts Jaycee Lee Dugard

On March 10, Florence Crittenton’s annual Teaming Up for Girls Luncheon returns to the Arizona Biltmore Resort to celebrate over 119 years of service to at-risk girls and young women throughout Arizona. Florence Crittenton is to have kidnapping survivor and author Jaycee Lee Dugard as the keynote speaker for the 14th annual luncheon. Ms. Dugard was kidnapped at the age of 11 in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., on her way to school and rescued 18 years later, at the age of 29, in Concord, Calif.
