CCS students donate funds, assemble meals to help hungry children

More than 70 children in Cambodia will have a years worth of meals due to a visit to Feed My Starving Children by the elementary students of Christ Church School on Thursday, March 9. Students and chaperones worked together to assemble 26,352 meals, according to a press release. β€œIt is great to be able to help other kids, and everybody worked together and cheered each other on,” said CCS fourth grade student Kai Cestero, in the press release.

CCS students donate money, time to Feed My Starving Children

Christ Church School junior kindergarten students, elementary students, and chaperones visited Feed My Starving Children in Mesa on Thursday, March 17. They worked together to assemble 22,032 meals to feed hungry children in Peru. These meals will provide 60 children with food for an entire year, according to a press release. β€œI would recommend this (trip to FMSC) because it is fun to help other kids,” stated CCS fourth grade student Jack Chait, in the release.

Xavier swim team donates time to Feed My Starving Children

Xavier College Preparatory’s swim and dive team members volunteered at Feed My Starving Children in Tempe during the first week of September. The team packed enough bags of rice to nourish 44 children across the globe for one year, according to a press release. Collectively, the school’s student body dedicates more than 32,000 annual service hours to the community.
