Paradise Valley artist Fred Tieken hosts Icehouse Gallery exhibit

Artist Fred Tieken has been invited to exhibit his artwork at the Icehouse Gallery in the heart of the Warehouse District in downtown Phoenix. Fresh off his exhibitions at LA Art Show and Miami Basel, this marks Mr. Tieken’s first exhibition in Phoenix in over a year, according to a press release. Mr. Tieken will be exhibiting alongside a talented line up of Phoenix artists including Jayme Blue, Larry Ortega and Joe Holdren in what promises to be a stellar show with a dynamic combination of art.

Paradise Valley artist stars in March 31 documentary on PBS

Acclaimed artist, and Paradise Valley resident for over 50 years, Beth Ames Swartz will featured in a documentary airing on Arizona PBS Friday, March 31. The 28-minute documentary, titled Beth Ames Swartz / Reminders of Invisible Light, will premiere at 9:30 p.m., and air again at 11:30 p.m. on Monday, April 3, according to a press release. The National Educational Telecommunications Association has made this film available to public television stations across the United states.

Paradise Valley artist holds exhibit to benefit pets

Paradise Valley artist Chad Little is holding an art exhibit entitled, “Dogs, Frogs & Flying Hogs” in November with 100 percent of the proceeds allocated Altered Tails, a 501(c)3 organization and the Valley’s largest spay/neuter clinic specializing in high quality, low cost spay/neuter services. On Saturday, Nov. 28, the final day of the exhibit, anyone who comes to the show and brings a pet food item (cat or dog food or cat litter) will be entered into a raffle to win one of Mr. Little’s paintings. Pet food and cat litter will be donated to Chuck Waggin Pet Food Pantry whose mission is to provide pet food and pet service referrals to keep pets and the families who love them together, according to a press release.
