Theft occurs after Paradise Valley garage is left open

A Paradise Valley woman fell victim to credit card theft after her purse was stolen out of her garage, according to police.

Between 10 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 18, a residential burglary occurred in the 5900 block of E. Caron Circle.

An unknown suspect entered an open garage and stole a purse from an unlocked vehicle, according to police.

At 3 a.m. the victim was alerted by a text from her credit card company that her credit card was used at a Walmart in Mesa.
