Paradise Valley license plate reader recovers stolen vehicle

The Paradise Valley Police Department recovered one stolen vehicle after receiving an alert from license plate readers.

The police responded to the activation around 2:19 p.m. on July 30, according to police officials.

Officers responded to the area of Scottsdale Road and Lincoln Drive, where the vehicle was observed traveling westbound on Lincoln Drive.

Officers conducted a high risk traffic stop in the area of 5400 E. Lincoln Drive. The single occupant driver was taken into custody without incident and the stolen vehicle was recovered for its owner, police stated.
