OnStar plays large part in recovering stolen Paradise Valley vehicle

One stolen vehicle has been recovered with the help of a vehicle locator service, according to the Paradise Valley Police Department.

On Nov. 10, the police responded to the 5400 block of east Orchid Lane in reference to a motor vehicle theft that occurred between 4:30 a.m. and 7:32 a.m.

The vehicle, a white 2013 Cadillac SRX sport utility vehicle displaying Arizona license BSV1144, was parked outside and taken during the night when the owner accidentally left it unlocked with the key fob inside, according to police.

The vehicle was later recovered in Phoenix in the area of 19th Avenue and Northern Avenue at 9:20 a.m. with the help of the OnStar vehicle locator service, police said.
