Victim loses $2,000 worth of equipment in burglary

A Paradise Valley resident reportedly had two pressure washers and a generator stolen from his house, according to police officials.

At 12:59 p.m. on May 24, the Paradise Valley Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in the 6700 block of north 63rd Place.

Upon arrival, the reporting party explained that he was missing some items from the residence. The victim stated that between 9 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. he noticed two pressure washers and a generator missing from the residence, according to police officials.

The victim stated there was no alarm and entry was gained through an unsecured/open wall to the first floor of the residence. The cameras on site were non-operational, police stated. The approximate value of loss is around $2,100.

The Paradise Valley Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit will be following up on this crime, according to a press release.
