Vehicle stolen out of Paradise Valley driveway

Paradise Valley Police Department officers responded to reports of a stolen vehicle on the morning of Tuesday, Dec 8.

According to officials, at 9:26 a.m. officers were dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle taken overnight from the 3400 block of E. Claremont Avenue.

The victim told officers that sometime between 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, at 9:20 a.m. on Dec. 8, the vehicle was stolen from the driveway, stated a police report. The stolen vehicle is a 2012 white Toyota Tundra truck with an Arizona license, AXZ3131.

There was no evidence of forced entry and the victim was unsure if they had left the keys in the truck, reports stated. The stolen truck was entered into the national stolen database and will be updated on the Paradise Valley Police Department’s license plate reader system.

Residents with any information regarding this theft should call the police department at 480-948-7410.

Officials would like to remind residents to always lock doors and set alarms. Motion and glass break sensors are an extremely important part of any alarm system. Marking property, with a product like Anti-Theft Dots so it is identifiable, also greatly increases the chance of recovery.
