Republican Maria Syms, a current Councilwoman for the Town of Paradise Valley, is running for the Arizona House in Legislature District 28 in order to create opportunities for Arizona to be a leader in job growth, quality education, government efficiency and security for our families now and in the future.

Councilwoman Syms is currently an Assistant Attorney General and Legal Policy Advisor to Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, who endorsed her campaign.

“Maria Syms is a dedicated leader with a confident vision for not only her district, but also Arizona as a whole,” stated Attorney General Mark Brnovich, in a press release. “I’ve seen her work in a breadth of areas, and have been impressed with her quick mastery of topics. I know she will serve in the legislature with integrity and she has not only my full support, but also my vote this August.”

She states her top priorities would include crime, children and seniors.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of a leader who has dedicated his time as Attorney General to protecting the most vulnerable in our state,” stated Councilwoman Syms in the release. “Working with Attorney General Brnovich has been one of the biggest highlights of my career and as a State Representative one of my top priorities will be strengthening our communities against crime and protecting children, seniors and our most vulnerable.”
