Paradise Valley police chief lauds volunteer ranks

Police Chief Peter Wingert presented Paradise Valley Town Council a ceremonial check accounting for an estimated $94,475.50 gift to the municipality Thursday, Feb. 9 at Town Hall, 6401 E. Lincoln Drive.

The $94,475.50 amount was curated from the idea Paradise Valley police volunteers accounted for 4,010 of volunteer work hours.

“We have a really dedicated group of 25 volunteers at the police department,” Chief Wingert told town council at the public hearing.
