Haase, Lininger complete Bill Self Basketball Camp at the University of Kansas

The grandchildren of Paradise Valley resident Ellen Horejsi — Brayden Haase and Kaleb Lininger — attended the Bill Self Basketball Camp at the University of Kansas from June 7-11.

The camp’s main purpose is to teach and develop individual and team basketball skills. According to the Bill Self Camp website, daily instruction and stations will emphasize fundamental basketball and player development.

The campers, ages 8-18, competed on teams during their time in Lawrence, Kan. in order to apply their individual skills to a team concept.

Bill Self has been University of Kansas’ head basketball coach for 12 seasons guiding the Jayhawks to two Final Four appearances, winning one championship and setting a school record for 10-straight regular-season Big 12 titles and six league Big 12 tournament championships.
