Camelback Bible Church hosts 48-hour ‘Create-a-Thon’

Paradise Valley’s Camelback Bible Church is hosting a “Create-a-Thon” starting Friday, Feb. 26, through Feb. 28.

Artists from the church and from the community are invited to bring their supplies to campus for 46 hours of creating based on thematic material given on-site, according to a press release.

The final work will be on display in the Camelback Bible Church sanctuary, 3900 E. Stanford Dr., through mid-April.

The schedule for the Create-a-Thon includes:

  • 6 p.m. Feb. 26: Artists arrive and work begins
  • 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 27: Public invited to view work in progress
  • 4 p.m. Feb. 28: Brushes down
  • 5 p.m. Feb. 28: Opening reception
  • 9 a.m. March 6: “Best in Show” awarded $1,000 cash prize

All levels of artists are welcome, ages 14 and up, according to the release. All work must begin from scratch and be completed in its entirety on-site at the Camelback Bible Church.
