Xavier Mothers’ Guild hosts annual Holiday Gala

Xavier College Preparatory’s Mothers’ Guild hosted its 43rd Annual Holiday Gala and Auction on Saturday, Nov. 14.

This year’s theme was “Believe . . . A Night to Hear the Magic,” based upon The Polar Express children’s book classic, and student conductors invited the more than 450 guests to hop aboard the festive “train” that traversed the school’s campus throughout the evening.

Chaired by Xavier parents Joni Oltrogge and Christina Whittle, the gala featured a silent auction, a delicious dinner, a live auction, and an after-party in the “Caboose” lounge.

Sean McLaughlin, Bob Hubbard, and Matt Young volunteered their talents as the event’s auctioneers, and the evening was filled with fun, friends, and fabulous prizes.

All proceeds raised will benefit Xavier’s Legacy of Leadership Capital Campaign, which continues to fund Xavier’s Chapel of Our Lady, Founders Hall, Petznick Field, and Activity Center renovation.
