Paradise Valley residents chair 13th Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala

Paradise Valley residents Dr. Stacie J. Stephenson and Richard J. Stephenson have been selected as event co-chairs of the 2017 Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala.

Childhelp will host the gala on Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in the Frank Lloyd Wright ballroom at 5:30 p.m.

Mrs. Stephenson is a physician and lecturer focusing upon regenerative, lifestyle, functional and innovative natural medicine programs, according to a press release.

She is chairman of Cancer Treatment Centers of America Board of Directors, a member of the Gateway for Cancer Research Board of Directors and drives the Stephenson’s broad and globally directed philanthropic interests.

Mr. Stephenson is the founder and chairman of numerous privately held domestic and international enterprises, including Cancer Treatment Centers of America and Gateway for Cancer Research.

It is estimated that five children die each day from abuse and neglect in the United States, and for nearly six decades, Childhelp has worked to combat this epidemic, the release stated.

The proceeds raised from the annual Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala directly benefit Childhelp programs and services.
