Keith R. Galbut of Paradise Valley received the Visionary Award from The Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations during its 40th Anniversary Celebration.

The event was held at Arizona State University’s Old Main Building and included speakers Peter Bergen, Ambassador J. Stapleton Roy, Marco Vicenzino, and Gayle Lemmon.

The Visionary Award recognizes Mr. Galbut for his many years of service as the President, Chairman, and Co‐Chairman of PCFR, according to a press release. Mr. Galbut was responsible for greatly expanding the membership of PCFR, bringing in young members, and interconnecting PCFR with Thunderbird, the ASU Law School, the O’Connor Foundation, The McCain Institute and Arizona Government.

The PCFR is the leading international organization in Arizona, bringing together incredible speakers including diplomats, scholars, government and military officials, the release stated. It holds dinners and lunches throughout the year that inform Arizona leaders about events on the world stage.
