Cooks’ Tour planned Nov. 6 at Valley Presbyterian Church

Valley Presbyterian Church will host the 45th annual Cooks’ Tour on its campus at 6947 E. McDonald Drive, Paradise Valley on Friday, Nov. 6.

Valley Presbyterian Church will host the 45th annual Cooks’ Tour, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E. McDonald Drive in Paradise Valley. This one-day event for mission sponsored by Presbyterian Women will be between the hours 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. with the exception of the White Elephant Department, which will open at 8:00 a.m. with a huge sale.

The theme is “Hands Across the City – Arms Around the World.” The church telephone number is 480-991-6424.

Activities include a spectacular home tour (cost $25) accessible by minibus; a luncheon; silent auction; white elephant sale; costume jewelry sale; crafters’ boutique; mission marketplace; kitchen treasures as well as a complimentary tea table.

The luncheon will be served between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The home tour will be for specific times beginning at 9 a.m. with the last bus leaving the church at noon. A limited number of tickets are available.

Tickets will be available Sundays, on the church patios between services and in the church library, weekdays 10 a.m. to noon. Tickets may also be ordered online at www.myvalleychurch.org or by calling the church, 480-991-6424. Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted.

This event provided over $40,000 for different southwest missions and local charities in 2014. The moderator for Presbyterian Women is Wandie Hulick. The general co-chairs are Helen Wolfe and Beryl Hassig.
