Warriors of PVSchools forms team for Walk4Purple

Since September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, childhood cancer survivors from Fireside Elementary, Grayhawk Elementary and Liberty Elementary and their families have joined forces to unite as the Warriors of PVSchools.

The goal of the Warriors of PVSchools is to raise awareness and reach out to other survivors and families battling childhood cancer in the district, according to a press release.

The Warriors of PVSchools has formed a team for the 2015 Walk4Purple Charity Walk, the release stated. The walk is to be 7-11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, at Paradise Valley Mall, 4568 E. Cactus Road in Phoenix.
