Second Chance Prom gives ailing children second chance

Second Chance Prom

Philanthropic couples all over the valley will converge at downtown Phoenix’s The Duce on Feb. 27, for the Second Chance Prom event, benefiting the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

“The event promises to be a memorable night for all,” stated Kelly D’Elena, the co-host and creator of the event, stated in a press release. “Children that are being treated at PCH deserve a second chance, so this prom night is a perfect tie-in for members of the Valley to give back and support the doctors, staff, and facilities as they treat and support these children and their families.”

“What’s so unique about this charity event is that it replicates all the activities that take place at a high school prom: dinner, dancing, pictures, and even dressing up, except this time it’s for adults.”

The event will be 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27. The Duce located at 525 S. Central Ave. in Phoenix.

Ms. D’Elena and her husband Mike are pulling out all the stops – the event will have valet parking, a professional DJ, photographer, photo booth, a silent auction, and of course, dinner and drinks, the release stated.  Tickets are currently being sold on their website.
