Ritz-Carlton Phoenix offers last month of teatime

The Ritz Carlton hotel in Phoenix will be closing their doors on July 24, and will feature special events throughout the month to end the reign of teatime.

From July 1-7 the Ritz Carlton will be serving the Teddy Bear Tea from 12 to 3 p.m. with gourmet hot chocolate, sandwiches and pastries, according to a press release.  The event will have story time and a sing-a-long around the piano.

Every child that attends the event will receive a teddy bear, according to the release.

From July 14-19 the Tea Room will be open daily with a final afternoon tea held at 3 p.m. on the July 19, according to the release. The final afternoon tea will include a champagne reception and slideshow of the afternoon teas throughout the years.

The final afternoon tea will hold live music from the Nicole Pesce trio, according to the release.
