Heard Museum to host art, artifacts appraisal day Nov. 21

Could a beloved art work also be a valuable art treasure? Find out at Heard Museum’s Art and Artifacts Appraisal Day.

The public is invited to learn more about those items lurking in closets or storage units, or collecting dust on shelves.

Leading Native art traders will examine personal treasures and offer information about materials, dates, artists and traditions to owners who bring them to the Heard’s semi-annual art appraisal event.

The event is to be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Heard Museum, 2301 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix.

Appraisal is to be $30 for the first item, $25 for the second item and $20 for the third and subsequent items, according to a press release.

Limit is 10 items per person.

Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
