Cigna HealthCare to host free child water safety event

The Cigna Summer Itty Bitty Beach Party is a free water safety event that offers children ages six and younger and their parents the opportunity to cool off and celebrate summer.

The event is part of Cigna HealthCare of Arizona and the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department’s Aquatic Section water safety program, according to a press release.

Activities and visuals include:

  • Free open swim
  • Water safety puppet show
  • Games
  • Dance contests
  • Swimsuit contests
  • Hawaiian leis, sunglasses, prizes and more

The event will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 5, at the Paradise Valley Pool, 17648 N. 40th Street.
