For the sixth consecutive year, the Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix hosts Boys to Men, an annual festival promoting community-wide access to choral training and development for young male singers.

The festival is 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Camelback Bible Church, 3900 E. Stanford Drive in Paradise Valley.

Boys to Men features junior high and high school male singers from around the Valley and beyond who will come together with adult male choruses from the Phoenix area for an afternoon of education and inspiration, followed by performances by individual choruses and a combined choir finale.

This year, Marc Gaston, Artistic Director of the Phoenix Metropolitan Men’s Chorus, and Gary Steinkamp, Director of A Cappella Syndicate, will join Orpheus Artistic Director Brook Larson in leading the combined mass choir of more than 200 singers.

In addition to the Orpheus Male Chorus, other community groups participating at the 2015 Boys to Men are Spirit of Phoenix, men of Phoenix Chorale, Metropolitan Men’s Chorus, A Cappella Syndicate and men of Phoenix Children’s Choir.

Schools participating are Camelback High School, Pinnacle High School, Alhambra High School, Sandra Day O’Connor High School, Horizon High School, Bradshaw Mountain High School, Apache Junction High School, North Canyon High School, Chandler Preparatory Academy and Truvium Preparatory Academy.

Tickets for Boys to Men can be purchased at the door for $5
