Electronics, appliances stolen from Paradise Valley guest home

The Paradise Valley Police Department was dispatched to a residential burglary in the 5800 block of N. Palo Cristi Road, at 5:29 p.m. on Feb. 1, according to police officials.

Upon arrival, the victim stated they had discovered someone burglarized their guest house between Jan. 27 and the time of the call, officials stated. The guest house was not secured and there was no alarm in use. Stolen items included electronics and appliances, police stated.

Locking doors can prevent a burglar from gaining entry to a home, officials stated in the release. Using alarms usually reduces the amount of time burglars are inside your house, and the amount of property they have time to steal. It also causes them to rush, which often leads to mistakes and additional evidence being left behind.

Anyone with information regarding this burglary is urged to call the Paradise Valley Police Department, 480-948-7410.
