In 2010, the two artists created their desert ArtLAB in Phoenix to inform a discourse regarding dry-land ecologies through multimedia performance and visual and social art.

April is currently a faculty member in the Department of American Ethnic Studies and an assistant curator at the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum at Kansas State University.
