Students achieve high recognition on National Spanish Exams

Fifty-seven Xavier College Preparatory students achieved gold, silver, and bronze recognition on this year’s National Spanish Examinations, and more than 100 received honorable mention designations.

According to a press release, six students also won state accolades at their respective examination levels – sophomore Viviana Ochoa, 1st place; freshwoman Claire Fleming and sophomore Katherine Kleeman, 2nd place; sophomores Kiley Galvin, Samantha Marx and Emma Strouse, 3rd Place.

Twenty-three Xavier and Brophy students also captured “top ten” honors in the National French Contest, according to the release.  Four students also won state accolades at their respective examination levels – junior Christian Hall, 1st place; juniors Shahira Bibars and Kirielle Singarajah, 2nd place; junior Talia Khan, 3rd Place.
