More than 60 Xavier College Preparatory students and faculty members embarked on the school’s International Studies Program offerings in Ecuador, France, and Nicaragua this summer.

Four years ago, Xavier introduced these three global opportunities as well as an exchange program that welcomes German students to Arizona each fall and sends Xavier students to Aachen, Germany each winter, according to a press release.

An annual Easter pilgrimage to Lourdes, France, complements the school’s international offerings to Europe, Central and South America.

Next summer, Xavier students will have additional opportunities to travel to Ireland, the Holy Land, and Krakow, Poland, for World Youth Day 2016, stated the release.

The objective of Xavier’s program is to provide its students and faculty with global religious, educational, cultural, and service offerings, according to the release.
