Horizon asst. principal receives AIA Women’s Leadership Award

Kandice Kelley-Williamson, an assistant principal at Horizon High School, 5601 E. Greenway Road in Scottsdale, was selected as the recipient of the Arizona Interscholastic Association Women’s Leadership Award.

Ms. Kelley-Williamson was chosen for her support of women and girls in sports and for being a fine example of the six pillars of character – trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship, according to a press release.

She will be recognized at the AIA Champions Awards Luncheon on May 18. According to the release, Ms. Kelley-Williamson was nominated by Horizon Principal Linda Ihnat.
