Encore University unveils spring classes for active adults

Get the inside story on Apollo II, learn about Hollywood’s most talented on-screen teams, or explore Sex and Power in Shakespeare during Encore University’s third term that runs March 8 – April 14 the Valley Presbyterian Church campus.

Arizona Republic columnists Rosie Romero, known for “Rosie on the House” and Larry Cox, antiques and collectibles expert, are lined up to lecture. Classes in visual, performing and culinary arts, finance, Facebook, health, and history are taught by teachers including emeritus professors and other professionals.

Encore University is located at 6947 E. McDonald Road in Paradise Valley. The school offers 35 classes designed for the 50 and older population in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, for just $35 per class.
