Students from Brophy College Preparatory have embarked on their first trip to “The Way”, El Camino Ignaciano near Barcelona, Spain.

“The Way” is the spiritual journey that Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus “The Jesuits,” walked in 1522.

Brophy students will walk from the village of Loyola to Barcelona on that same route, according to a press release.

Brophy is the first high school group to officially walk the Camino, stated the release.
