15 Xavier athletes commit to universities

Xavier College Preparatory4710 N. 5th St. in Phoenix, has announced that 15 seniors signed national collegiate letters of intent on the morning of Nov. 11.

“Xavier is incredibly proud of these young women for their years of hard work and dedication to both academics and athletics,” stated Sister Lynn Winsor, BVM, the school’s Vice Principal and Athletic Director since 1977, in a press release. “They will excel not only in college, but in everything that they do.”

The students are:

  • Claire Coppola – Louisiana State University – Sand Volleyball
  • Caitlyn Dickman – Villanova University – Softball
  • Megan Donahey – Princeton University – Softball
  • Mikayla Fitzpatrick – Xavier University (OH) – Golf
  • Alexis Ham – Stetson University – Sand Volleyball
  • Alice Hick – Northern Arizona University – Swim
  • Callie Jones – Santa Clara University – Volleyball
  • Khalia Lanier – University of Southern California – Volleyball
  • Kristen Largay – American University – Volleyball
  • Ellery Martin – Loyola Marymount University – Crew/Rowing
  • Vanessa Murphy – Grand Canyon University – Basketball
  • Elise Roediger – University of Wisconsin – Swim
  • Serena Sedillo – California State University, Fresno – Diving
  • Alisa Snyder – University of Michigan – Golf
  • Allie Worrall – University of Nebraska – Swim
