The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced on Dec. 2 that Paradise Valley resident and business leader Don P. Martin, a partner in the firm’s Phoenix office, has been recognized by “Benchmark Litigation,” a publication that exclusively ranks U.S. litigation firms and attorneys.

The firm itself – which has offices in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tucson – ranked one of the five “recommended” firms in Arizona. Mr. Martin – along with fellow Phoenix partner James A. Ryan – was honored among the publication’s “Local Litigation Stars,” according to a press release.

Mr. Martin handles complex commercial litigation, including professional liability, banking, real estate, and securities litigation and administrative hearings.

He is the former national chair of the Quarles & Brady Litigation Group. Mr. Martin received his law degree, with honors, from the University of Virginia School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

Now in its ninth year of publication, “Benchmark” exclusively covers the litigation and disputes market in North America, covering the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The original publication, “Benchmark Litigation”—the definitive guide to America’s leading litigation firms and attorneys—is the only publication to focus specifically on U.S. litigation, the release stated.
