Fry’s Food Stores announces renovations to popular Phoenix location

Fry’s Food Stores announced updates to its existing store at RED Development’s Camelback Colonnade property, which is located at 20th Street and Highland in Phoenix.

The updates are scheduled to begin in January and be completed later this fall, according to a press release. The remodeled store will feature a 20,000 square foot expansion and several enhancements.

“The 20th St. and Highland store is one of Fry’s most popular stores,” stated Fry’s President Steve McKinney, in the release. “This remodel is an investment for Fry’s future in the Colonnade area. At Fry’s, we strive to innovate and provide our customers with the greatest shopping experience possible.”

Located in the heart of the Camelback corridor, Camelback Colonnade offers over 40 shopping dining and service options including Bed Bath & Beyond, Nordstrom Last Chance, Floor & D├ęcor, Best Buy and Marshalls.

“We are looking forward to working with Fry’s as they complete these upgrades to their store,” stated Barry Shannahan, EVP of acquisitions and development for RED Development, in the release. “Fry’s is an exceptional anchor to Camelback Colonnade. Enhancing on-site offerings speaks to their appreciation of local, area shoppers and their commitment to this location.”
