Abrazo Central Campus employees donated more than 100 children’s books as well as backpacks and school supplies to Washington Elementary School.

Staff at Abrazo Central Campus (previously known as Phoenix Baptist Hospital), 2000 W. Bethany Home Road, collected donations over the summer, according to a press release.

Donated school supplies included backpacks, notebooks, markers, glue sticks, pencils and crayons. Tissues and hand sanitizer also were donated.

Angi Hill and Jaime Avila, who are nurses in the Abrazo Central Campus Women and Infant Services department organized the book drive, the release stated.
