Gateway Academy, a Phoenix K-12th grade private day school, has seen great success within its classrooms since implementing Rosetta Stone for students to utilize while learning a foreign language, school officials say. When one walks the halls of Gateway Academy, it’s not uncommon to hear conversations taking place in languages from all over the world. For these Twice-Exceptional students (those with high-functioning autism), access to a world language program has unlocked a passion for learning and is helping students excel, according to a press release.
Gateway Academy will be hosting a community event celebrating the grand opening of its new campus with fun-filled hands-on educational activities on Saturday, April 29. Starting at 11 a.m. families will have a chance to explore the new campus, located in the picturesque Phoenix Mountain Preserve at 3939 E. Shea Blvd. in Paradise Valley. Gateway Academy is a private K-12th grade day school specializing in Twice-Exceptional students, academically bright with High Functioning Autism, according to a press release.
