Childhelp, the nation’s oldest and largest non-profit advocating for abused and neglected children, celebrated its 11th Annual Childhelp Wings Fashion Show Luncheon on Sunday, April 2 at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia. The sold-out event broke the previous fundraising record, raising a total of $190,000 to fund crucial Childhelp programs and services in Arizona, according to a press release. Co-chaired by community advocates Tiffany Quayle and Abby Traister-Leadon, the event was hosted by Dove Cameron, known for her dual role on Disney Channel’s Liv and Maddie, and, for the third year in a row, Nick Ciletti from ABC 15 Arizona.
Paradise Valley resident, Abby Traister, will serve as event co-chair alongside Phoenix resident Tiffany Quayle for Childhelp’s 11th Annual WINGS Fashion Show Luncheon. Childhelp will host its luncheon 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia, 4949 E. Lincoln Drive, with proceeds benefiting Childhelp’s programs and services in Arizona. The luncheon, presented by Services Group of America and the Jane N. Mooty Foundation, will feature a full runway show, along with local celebrity models, according to a press release.
Paradise Valley residents Dr. Stacie J. Stephenson and Richard J. Stephenson have been selected as event co-chairs of the 2017 Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala. Childhelp will host the gala on Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in the Frank Lloyd Wright ballroom at 5:30 p.m. Mrs. Stephenson is a physician and lecturer focusing upon regenerative, lifestyle, functional and innovative natural medicine programs, according to a press release.

Childhelp, the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit advocating for abused and neglected children, announced that it will rename the Childhelp Children’s Center of Arizona after community philanthropist, Linda Pope. “For many years, Linda Pope has selflessly given her time, energy, and resources to this organization and our mission,” stated Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, founders of Childhelp, in a press release. “She is the embodiment of what this center represents – she is kindness, hope, generosity, and love. A sign above every Childhelp door reads ‘All Who Enter Here Will Find Love,’ and we couldn’t think of a name more synonymous with love than Linda Pope.” The Childhelp Children’s Center of Arizona Dedicated to Linda Pope, located 2120 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix, will celebrate its grand opening with a dedication ceremony at 11 a.m. on Oct. 17.
