The Hermosa Inn, a AAA Four Diamond boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Paradise Valley, recently completed the second phase of a $5.5 million dollar renovation and expansion. The renovation included the addition of 10 deluxe hideaway casitas, the complete renovation of 12 historic rancho casitas and an expansion of LON’s Last Drop bar and patio, increasing the hotel’s number of hacienda-style accommodations and casitas to 43, according to a press release.
UPS has announced that 23 elite drivers from Arizona are among 1,575 newly inducted worldwide into the Circle of Honor, an honorary organization for UPS drivers who have achieved 25 or more years of accident-free driving. Arizona boasts 115 active Circle of Honor drivers with a combined 3,246 years of accident-free driving. Mark Woolston of Glendale is the state’s senior-most safe driver, with 41 years of accident-free driving under his belt. There are 1,537 total full-time UPS drivers in Arizona.
