The following reports for service at the Paradise Valley Police Department were published in Dec. 9 Town of Paradise Valley Independent:

THEFT
A theft report was reported Nov. 17 at the 6400 block of E. Sierra Vista Drive The complainant stated he went into his wallet and discovered one of his credit cards was missing. When he checked his credit card statement, he saw his card was used at numerous places. He was unsure when his credit card was stolen or who may have stolen it.

THEFT
A resident called police Nov. 21 to report his two lawn mowers and a garden hose had been stolen from his front yard. When the officer checked with the neighbor, she told him she had a new construction crew working at her home. The time the mowers were stolen coincided with the time the construction crew was working.

DRUGS
Officers were dispatched to the Camelback Inn Nov. 22 on a report of drugs and drug paraphernalia that were discovered in a guest room. Upon their arrival, security showed the officers drugs and paraphernalia that were in the room. Security told the officers the room had been locked by the hotel for lack of payment. While checking the room, a wallet belonging to the alleged suspect was found. As officers were processing the room, a male and female walked past the room; the male matched the description of the male that was on the license in the wallet so they were stopped by officers. During the ensuing investigation it was determined the male and female were in fact the guests in the room. Both suspects were arrested for the drugs and paraphernalia.

THEFT
A student attending Kiva Elementary had his rental clarinet stolen Nov. 23 from outside of the classroom he was in. A search of the area for the instrument was conducted but it was never located.

DRUGS
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of the 7100 block of North 46th Street on Nov. 25. The caller was able to get the license number and a description of the car before it left the area. While checking the location, an officer located the car driving on Joshua Tree and 46th. The officer initiated a traffic stop on the male and upon approaching the car noticed the male was not wearing any clothing. The officer contacted the Phoenix Fire Department to check on his welfare. While talking to the male, the office inquired if he was on any drugs and if there were any drugs in the car. The male gave the officer permission to search his car; inside of the car methamphetamine was found.
